All window and door series can be installed in both interior and exterior applications, and are fully tested and listed by UL [Underwriters Laboratories]. Optimum's fire rated windows and doors are MEA approved for use in the City of New York. Optimum's windows and doors are produced from 100% recycled steel. The entire fire rated series are galvanized and then go through a rigorous 7 stage pre-treatment. They are then primed and painted with electro-statically applied powder, which is considered an environmentally friendly finishing process.
